In addition to our 2024 race calendar, Run 4 a Reason and Rough Runners will take over management of fan favorite race, Sunburn Half and 10k! We are very grateful to Mr. Dan Pavlin of Endurance Race Services for choosing to hand off this diverse race through beautiful Wormsloe to us.
Dan Pavlin has made tremendous contributions to the Savannah running community and also to many local charities. We are committed to relaying Dan Pavlin’s legacy with this race by continuing this quality running event that enhances Savannah and the surrounding areas.
What happens now that the Sunburn Half and 10k is under Rough Runners’ stewardship?
The Sunburn Half and 10k will continue to be held in the Fall. The tentative date is September 21, 2024. The race will continue to course through Wormsloe but we would like to extend the course to include other areas of Isle of Hope. No race course plans have been finalized yet but expect news soon. You can be assured that we will be adding our personal touches to this race as you would expect at our other races. Please check our website for updates about this exciting event going forward, under the Run 4a Reason’s umbrella.
